Why didn’t my question appear on screen during a session?
All posts are moderated, so allow time for your questions and comments to appear. Due to the high volume of questions submitted during sessions, not all will appear. However, the Museum staff will answer every question. Please be mindful about sharing personal information and follow the moderation policy.
What is the moderation policy?
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is a federal institution dedicated to Holocaust education and memorialization. The virtual program is intended to provide learning opportunities for classroom teachers about Holocaust history from 1933–1945 and classroom pedagogy. Participant communication must be civil, respectful, and focused on Holocaust education. Personal attacks (including speaking about broad groups of people in negative terms), Holocaust comparisons, or raising political issues about current events that are not focused on Holocaust history do not meet the goals of the program. Solicitations (personal curriculum, business ventures, fundraising, books, survivor speaking engagements, or charities) are not permitted. Participants who do not embrace the above mentioned goals and expectations will not be permitted to participate further in the program.
Thank you for your participation and understanding.
