What is the moderation policy?

Thank you for joining the conference community. The Museum staff warmly welcomes you to the event. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is a federal institution dedicated to Holocaust education and memorialization. The Belfer National Conference for Holocaust Education is intended to provide learning opportunities for classroom teachers about Holocaust history from 1933-1945 and classroom pedagogy. Participant communication must be civil, respectful, and focused on Holocaust education. Personal attacks (including speaking about broad groups of people in negative terms), Holocaust comparisons, or raising political issues about current events that are not focused on Holocaust history do not meet the goals of the conference. Solicitations (personal curriculum, business ventures, fundraising, books, survivor speaking engagements, or charities) are not permitted. Participants who do not embrace the abovementioned goals and expectations will not be permitted to participate further in the conference.

Thank you for your participation and understanding.
