Yes. Hotel accommodations for Museum guests have been arranged at the Salamander Washington DC, 1330 Maryland Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024. Book a discounted rate of $439 plus taxes per night online by clicking here or by calling 844.860.2741, pressing “1” for reservations, “2” for group accommodations, and mentioning the group code “US Holocaust Memorial Museum Days of Remembrance.” This rate is available until Friday, March 20, 2026.

Tickets are $700 per person for the full two days of programming on April 13–14, as well as lunch on both days, a reception on Monday evening, breakfast on Tuesday morning, and one seat at the National Tribute Dinner. Participants are responsible for personal travel to and from Washington, DC, and for lodging and incidentals.

Yes, certain meals are included. Please note kosher dietary laws will be observed for all meals during the Days of Remembrance events. Please indicate on the registration form if you have any dietary requirements.

Meals provided on Monday, April 13: 

  • Seated lunch during Legacy of Light program (open to all)
  • Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages at the evening event

Meals provided on Tuesday, April 14:

  • Breakfast prior to Days of Remembrance ceremony
  • Seated lunch following Days of Remembrance ceremony
  • Reception and seated dinner for the 2026 National Tribute Dinner

Yes, transportation is provided from the Salamander Hotel. Specifics will be made available to attendees closer to the event dates.

We will offer Donors Wall unveilings on Monday, April 13. More information will be shared as the dates approach. If you are interested in unveiling at this time, please contact donorswall@ushmm.org.

Attire throughout most of the event is business casual. You will be walking or standing at various times during the day, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Please also consider bringing a sweater as temperatures can fluctuate in each location. 

On Tuesday, April 14, for the National Tribute Dinner evening event, cocktail attire is requested.

We respectfully ask that you refrain from coming to the 2026 Days of Remembrance with any artifacts, documents, photographs, or historical materials that you might wish to donate or have examined, as our curatorial staff cannot accommodate meetings at the David and Fela Shapell Family Collections, Conservation and Research Center during this visit. 

Should you wish to consult with a curator and explore a potential donation to the Museum’s collection, please email curator@ushmm.org with a brief description of your historical items and their connection to the Holocaust. A curatorial team member will follow up with you.
